Delivered by Lee Ferriday, School Improvement Adviser, this course is aimed class teachers in their first four years of teaching, providing an opportunity to review and reflect on approaches to teaching and learning. The course offers:

  • A thought provoking and interactive session where you will discover a wider range of strategies for accelerating learning by ensuring pupils embed key concepts in their long term memory and apply them fluently
  • Opportunities to share experiences of your effective classroom approaches with colleagues at a similar stage of their career
  • Further insight into whole brain learning and how this can improve your approach to teaching
  • A chance to work through a range of practical activities to effectively promote learning and enhance teaching styles.
  • A range of practical activities to develop the further engagement of children.
